NWD50 Branding

The original NWD logo features a bold, geometric design with a 50-year history. For the 50th anniversary event, the logo evolves into a three-dimensional, dynamic representation of the number "50," maintaining the original's red color and geometric essence. This design highlights continuity and growth, reflecting NWD's journey over the past five decades.

NWD50 exhibition

The State Theatre in Hong Kong, a Grade I historic building, is being restored and conserved by NWD. Inspired by the theatre's distinctive "parabola-like" concrete arches, the NWD 50th Anniversary exhibition features a main installation echoing these iconic roof structures. This design pays homage to the architectural heritage of the State Theatre and symbolizes NWD's blend of historical preservation and contemporary innovation, reflecting on its journey over the past five decades and future aspirations.
